How the service works
Buyback terms
These terms explain simply how Reprise Drone handles a valuation request, the shipping of the drone, its inspection and payment.
Drones we consider
We consider working, damaged or broken drones, as well as some related accessories. Acceptance depends in particular on the model, its condition, demand and whether it can be refurbished, used for parts or recycled.
Valuation within 72 hours
Once we receive the information requested in the form and, where needed, photos of the drone, Reprise Drone sends a first valuation within 72 hours.
This valuation is based on the information provided by the seller and may be confirmed or adjusted after the drone is received and physically inspected.
Shipping and inspection
When the valuation is accepted, shipping details are sent to the seller. On receipt, the drone may be inspected to check its model, condition, operation, accessories and that it matches the information provided.
Confirmed or revised offer
If the drone's actual condition matches the information provided, the offer is confirmed. If there is a significant difference, for example undeclared damage, a missing part, a different drone or an additional fault, a revised offer may be proposed before the purchase is finalised.
If a revised offer is not accepted, the seller is told how the drone will be returned.
Payment within 48 hours of receipt
Once the drone has been received, inspected and the purchase finally approved, payment is made within 48 hours using the payment method agreed with the seller.
Ownership and origin
Anyone offering a drone for sale confirms that they are entitled to sell it and hold the necessary rights over the drone and its accessories. Reprise Drone may decline a purchase when the origin or ownership of the drone seems uncertain.
Data and linked accounts
Before shipping, sellers should back up any data they want to keep, remove memory cards and, where possible, unlink personal accounts associated with the drone.
Refurbishment, parts and recycling
Depending on its condition, a purchased drone may be refurbished, used for parts or sent to a suitable recycling channel. The choice depends on its technical condition and reuse potential.
